The GITIS ___Homepage___ establishes the institute's prestige, shares its history and Moscow‑related facts, and provides direct access to available courses and programs.

GITIS is a prestigious Russian institute of theatre and cinema, the alma mater of many stars — including Kristofer Hivju, who played Tormund Giantsbane in Game of Thrones. GITIS needed a website dedicated to international applicants, and ArtLebedev Studio was invited to design it. I was proud to be appointed as the designer for this project.
To create a new website to attract international students and make the choice and application process as convenient and clear as possible when applying remotely.
GITIS offers a wide range of disciplines, faculties, and courses. This variety can make it quite challenging to identify your ideal path and apply — especially remotely. The new website aims not only to serve as an English‑language version of the main GITIS website, but also to refresh its design and simplify the remote application process, making it clear and user‑friendly.
I analysed the existing GITIS website and re‑evaluated how the theatre institution, its disciplines, faculties, and courses are presented. I also incorporated the application process.
I created a new GITIS International website. The updated version provides students with a clear structure of the university and information about its facilities. I also made the application process as straightforward as possible.

Knowing international students navigate by course names, we built a simple ___Department___Directory___. Hover to see teaching photos; click to reveal courses and study plans.
To simplify ___Navigation___ to all the institute's buildings in Moscow, we decided to create special maps showing key nearby locations.
The ___Personal___Section___ displays the candidate's application status. Upon acceptance, it will show the class schedule.
International applicants can discover their future mentors through the ___About___ section's faculty list.
An ___Interactive___Presentation___ introduces the Stanislavsky system and highlights the institute's key historical milestones and role in world theatre.
