Lead UX/UI Designer
2020
When I joined the team as a design leader, I identified inefficiencies in Artec's hiring process. After analyzing the issues, I implemented solutions that resulted in a 30% increase in leads and a tenfold growth in applicant volume.
At Artec 3D, we faced a noticeable challenge – the process of building a designer team and other teams could take up to 4-5 months to find suitable candidates, which really slowed down the delivery of the results.
I conducted an audience-focused UX analysis, leading to the development of a career website that aligned with the target audience and the overall image of a technologically advanced, modern company. Additionally, I proposed a new approach to recruiting designers via career aggregators.
After conducting UX research, I designed Artec's career website, which significantly improved HR department processes. I also analysed how candidates were contacted via career aggregators and discovered that the tone of voice was unsuitable for attracting the right professionals. By refining the text and visuals in the job postings, we saw a tenfold increase in applicant responses!

The newly developed hiring portal boosted recruitment efficiency by increasing job‑link response conversion rates by over 30%, significantly easing HR workflows. Additionally, the initiative expanded our global reach to over 50 countries and increased applications from underrepresented groups, improving workforce diversity. We also achieved a nearly x10 increase in design applicant CVs in a short timeframe.
Growth of the number of applicants: By implementing a new approach to hiring process as a whole, we increased the number of CVs we received nearly tenfold in a very short time. This significant boost in applications allowed us to quickly complete a designer team with the best candidates. It significantly strengthened Artec 3D's team and positively impacted the product's usability aspects.
Rise of conversion rate of responses: What is more, I also created the hiring portal showcased above, which increased the conversion rate of responses when clicking on a job link by more than 30% and significantly helped the HR department in their work.
Global Reach and diversity: Global Reach saw an increase in applications from over 50 countries, while Diversity experienced a rise in applications from underrepresented groups.
Furthermore, during my tenure at the Company, I willingly took the role of mentoring junior designers, enthusiastically sharing my expertise with fellow team members to advance the Company's objectives. In my capacity as a mentor, I organized weekly design department meetings, providing a platform for designers to exchange industry insights, enhance their professional skills, and foster team cohesion. These sessions also served as a breeding ground for innovative ideas to shape the company's design direction. Through these meetings, I made substantial contributions by sharing and implementing my own concepts for enhancing Artec's design, facilitating effective teamwork, and generating creative branding ideas for the company and its products.
